USCIS Provides Email Address to Report Receipt Numbers Not Recognized in “My Case Status”

There have been increased reports from immigration related applicants experiencing problems when checking their case via USCIS’s “My Case Status” online tool. Specifically, the website does not recognize the applicants’ receipt number when it is entered into the online case status tool. On a February 27, 2018 CIS Ombudsman’s teleconference on Employment Authorization Document (EAD) processing, USCIS instructed stakeholders experiencing these issues to send an email to myuscissupport@uscis.dhs.gov to report that a receipt number is not recognized in the online case system.
